WAYFINDING

The KioHealth Way Finder Solution allows patients, family and friends the ability to easily obtain directions and maps to various locations at, and around, the medical facilityand surrounding campus.  The solution is customizable based on the facility’s requirements, and can include the following functionality:

  • Quick Search:   Provide quick, one-touch result for highly used locations.(cafeteria, gift shop, restrooms, etc.)
  • Specific Department Search:  Locate various departments such as radiology lab, pharmacy, maternity ward, etc.
  • Complex Searches:  The solution includes the ability to search across multiple floors, multiple buildings, campus wide and even city-wide.
  • Additional Information:Text information can be added to each search option, providing users with additional details like cafeteria hours, holiday hours, etc.  Additionally, the Administration ToolBox allows for updating of practitioner office work hours and block-out specific dates/times as necessary.
  • Local Directory:  Search for nearby restaurants, hotels and other city locations.  Additional information about these locations (phone numbers, hours of operation, etc) can be displayed.

Search results show an animated path to the destination, with text options for step-by-step directions.  Patients, family and friends can also have the option to print directions, further increasing satisfaction through healthcare self-service automation.
